As hard as it can be to find the motivation to start working on a project, sometimes it’s just as difficult knowing when to stop. I bleached this denim and started sewing at the end of 2023. This piece was originally going to be a dress, then a jumpsuit, then maybe a two piece set… long story short, I had this top 90% finished for months. I just had to decide it was time to stop. It took me an hour one morning to put the finishing touches on it. I wore it to DC and got took some photos at the Lincoln Memorial and on the pedestrian bridge (my brother Matt built!) at the Kennedy Center.
